About Pine Point Ski Club

Pine Point Ski Club is an athletic, recreational and social club of about 200 members. We schedule several Western ski trips annually as well as a number of local Midwest ski trips, usually kicking off the season in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Our members are mostly between the ages of 25 and 55, single, and live throughout the Chicago area. We also have a number of married couples, some having first met at the club!! Although skiing and snowboarding (yes we do have snowboarders in the club) is our main interest, we offer a year-round schedule of activities. Annual favorites include a Kettle Moraine camping/biking trip, white water rafting trip in West Virginia, Chicago Blues Festival, outdoor picnics under the blue sky, and wine tastings.

We have skiers and snowboarders at all levels: racers, mogul monsters, cruisers, terrain park masters, and raw beginners. If you have never been on the snow before, we will be honored to guide you though this amazing experience. In addition, we offer racing through Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council (CMSC). It is a great way to improve on your skiing/snowboarding and a lot of fun.

The club has been in existence for over 40 years and we have great networking with other ski clubs as well as ski shops in Chicago and ski resorts all over the western U.S. We are a very friendly group and we are always looking for new members to share our passion for outdoors activities.

We meet every third Tuesday of the month for our regular monthly club meeting.
