Join us for another year of awesome blues music & great conversation at the 2023 Chicago Blues Festival. This is a family event and all ages are welcome. Make sure to grab your blanket, picnic basket and, not to forget, your fabulous self!

 

The Chicago Blues Festival is the largest free blues festival in the world and remains the largest of Chicago's Music Festivals. During four days on three stages, more than 500,000 blues fans prove that Chicago is the "Blues Capital of the World". With a diverse lineup celebrating the blues’ past, present and future, the Chicago Blues Festival shares the great Chicago-born music tradition while shining a spotlight on the genre’s contributions to soul, R&B, gospel, rock, hip hop and more.

 

We will meet to hear Matthew Skoller and Chicago Wind featuring: Precious Taylor on west side of the Rosa's Loung Stage (check out the event map with marker in the Photos)

 

### Rosa’s Lounge (North Promenade)

Daily showcase of Chicago Blues legends and emerging artists that have called Rosa's Lounge home over the last 39 years.

  • 1:35-2:25pm - Matthew Skoller and Chicago Wind featuring: Precious Taylor

  • 2:40-3:30pm - Milwaukee Slim with the Billy Flynn Band

  • 3:45-4:45pm - Lynne Jordan and the Shivers

If you want to hear more, move on to the main lawn.

  • 5:15-6:15pm - Sugaray Rayford

  • 6:30-7:30pm - Demetria Taylor with The Mike Wheeler Band

  • 7:45-9pm - Mud Morganfield

#### Food & Beverage:

Subject to bag search at the security perimeter, guests will be allowed to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic drinks may be purchased inside the venue for this event.
