SCHWEITZER STATS
Sneaky big: Schweitzer boasts 2,440 ft of vertical and about 300 inches of snow each year. With 2,900 skiable acres, it rivals Jackson Hole, Steamboat, Breckenridge, and Snowbird. Elevation ranges from 3,960 ft at the base to 6,400 ft at the summit —a sweet spot of lower-altitude comfort and the deep, high-quality snow the Selkirks are famous for.
This resort gets high-quality snow and hardly any crowds. This means in many places you can sniff out untouched snow days after a dump in the upper elevations.
A Note About Ability Level:
This trip isn’t ideal for beginners—Schweitzer only has two green runs. You should be comfortable on easy blue/intermediate terrain. The mountain also sees frequent fog, so confidence in low-visibility conditions is important. Bring all your goggles and lenses, just in case.

Humbird Hotel: We have 10 QQ rooms and 2 King rooms for 5 nights. Humbird is located in the Mountain Village, a ski-in/out walk to lifts. 15 dining options nearby.
Amenities: Rooms have a micro-fridge, microwave, robes, boot/ glove dryers. Ski lockers, rooftop hot tub, and free coffee and espresso drinks in lobby.

Last season’s price was $600/person, which includes a heated 12-passenger PistenBully snowcat with a guide, AVI gear, lunch, water, and snacks. Expect around 8 runs and 11,000 ft of vert, depending on conditions.
