Acerca de Pine Point Ski Club
Pine Point Ski Club es un club deportivo, recreativo y social de unos 200 miembros. Programamos varios viajes de esquí al oeste anualmente, así como una serie de viajes de esquí locales al medio oeste, que generalmente comienzan la temporada en la península superior de Michigan. La mayoría de nuestros miembros tienen entre 25 y 55 años, son solteros y viven en toda el área de Chicago. ¡También tenemos varias parejas casadas, algunas de las cuales se conocieron en el club! Aunque el esquí y el snowboard (sí, tenemos snowboarders en el club) es nuestro principal interés, ofrecemos un programa de actividades durante todo el año. Los favoritos anuales incluyen un viaje de campamento/ciclismo en Kettle Moraine, un viaje de rafting en aguas bravas en Virginia Occidental, el Festival de Blues de Chicago, picnics al aire libre bajo el cielo azul y catas de vino.
Tenemos esquiadores y practicantes de snowboard en todos los niveles: corredores, monstruos magnates, cruceros, maestros de parques de terreno y principiantes. Si nunca antes ha estado en la nieve, será un honor guiarlo a través de esta increíble experiencia. Además, ofrecemos carreras a través del Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council (CMSC). Es una excelente manera de mejorar tu esquí/snowboard y es muy divertido.
El club existe desde hace más de 40 años y tenemos una gran red de contactos con otros clubes de esquí, así como tiendas de esquí en Chicago y estaciones de esquí en todo el oeste de los EE. UU. Somos un grupo muy amigable y siempre estamos buscando nuevos miembros para compartir. nuestra pasión por las actividades al aire libre.
Nos reunimos cada tercer martes del mes para nuestra reunión mensual regular del club .
